Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP Labor and Employment partner Emily Burkhardt Vicente was recently honored by being included on the Los Angeles Business Journal’s 2023 Women of Influence: Attorneys list. The award recognizes women who have displayed their leadership through professional achievements, community leadership, milestones, and awards.

Vicente also works with companies nationwide on the design and implementation of diversity and inclusion programs and other ESG initiatives.

Additionally, Vicente serves as co-chair of the firm’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee, which is dedicated to advancing the promotion, retention, and advancement of diverse lawyers and staff within the firm and community. Most recently, the Los Angeles Business Journal shortlisted Vicente for the Diversity, Equity + Inclusion Executive of the Year in 2021 and 2023, and recognized her in 2022 among its Leaders of Influence: Labor and Employment Attorneys in Los Angeles. Vicente was also listed as a 2022 Diversity & Inclusion Visionary by The Los Angeles Times magazine.
