Matthew Nigriny

Matt’s practice focuses on intellectual property prosecution and litigation.

He is experienced in all aspects of IP law, including trademark counseling, prosecution, and enforcement, and patent prosecution and litigation. He also advises clients on clearance, registration, and management of intellectual property assets, as well as intellectual property and technology licenses, transfers, and other agreements.

Matt is registered to practice before the US Patent Trademark Office.

• Assisted numerous companies in the clearance, registration, and maintenance of trademarks in the United States and worldwide.
• Performs intellectual property due diligence investigations for mergers and acquisitions.
• Handles discovery and prepares briefs, motions, and legal memoranda for complex intellectual property litigation.
• Prosecutes a broad range of patent applications, particularly in the areas of telecommunications and financial transactions, including related to blockchain and distributed ledger technology and artificial intelligence (AI).
