Jeremy focuses his practice on IP litigation and counseling, particularly for clients within the entertainment industry.

As a member of the intellectual property team, Jeremy represents clients in connection with the acquisition, maintenance, and litigation of trademark, copyright, and trade secret rights. He also assists with copyright law expert reports and drafts guidelines and internal policies to ensure intellectual property best practices and compliance. Jeremy frequently writes and presents on copyright and trademark matters and emerging issues.

Jeremy’s pro bono work has included enforcing the copyrights of local artists through Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, as well as complex civil litigation surrounding international child abduction.

Prior to joining the firm, Jeremy spent a decade as a professional musician and digital instrument designer, working on dozens of Broadway productions as well as numerous RIAA Certified Diamond®, Platinum®, Gold®, and Grammy® Award winning albums. He prides himself on understanding copyright and entertainment issues from both a lawyer’s and an artist’s perspective.

While in law school, Jeremy was awarded the Carol G. Harper Prize for the highest standards of achievement in intellectual property studies and writing, and named a James Kent Scholar.
