Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is pleased to announce that associates Alyson Brown, Marissa Rogers and Brianne Reese were recently named to The National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 in Virginia, Class of 2023.

The professional honorary association recognizes attorneys under 40 from each state who demonstrate superior leadership, reputation, influence, stature and profile as a black lawyer. Selection is by invitation only following a multi-phase review process that includes peer nominations and third-party research.

Brown focuses her practice on representing and advising employers on all aspects of labor and employment law. She represents employers in administrative proceedings before federal and state agencies, counsels employers on compliance with federal and state labor and employment laws, and represents clients in traditional labor matters including NLRB proceedings and corporate campaign matters.

Rogers is a member of the firm’s corporate team, where her practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance matters. She represents public and private companies in connection with mergers and acquisitions and other strategic transactions. She also assists clients in a wide variety of industries with corporate governance and compliance matters.

Reese focuses her practice on complex litigation, with an emphasis on antitrust litigation. Her practice is varied and includes antitrust, breach of contract, and fraud class actions and litigation, as well as federal securities and wage-hour litigation, among other subject matter areas. She has experience in all stages of litigation, including drafting pleadings and discovery requests, briefing jurisdictional and procedural issues, managing complicated discovery challenges, interviewing witnesses, and trial.
