Miami lawyers Sam Danon, Gus Membiela, and Paulo Lima were finalists in the "Most Effective Lawyers 2012" annual listing by Daily Business Review. They were considered for their defense of Banco Santander, the largest financial group in Spain and Latin America, against the potential of being named in Bernard Madoff-related class action lawsuits.
