Hunton Andrews Kurth joins in celebrating the Dallas Bar Association and the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program (DVAP) on their recognitions and awards from the State Bar of Texas for services provided to the Dallas community, which includes the creation of the Virtual Clinics that “were started during COVID with the help of Hunton Andrews Kurth.” DVAP received the Star of Achievement, which recognizes outstanding member service and public service projects by local bar associations in all divisions.  The Virtual Clinic platform is proudly designed, created and sustained by Hunton Andrews Kurth to enhance the accessibility of pro bono legal services to the people-in-need in the Dallas community. The platform has served more than 6,300 applicants and held over a 100 clinics to date.

The firm was previously honored as the Pro Bono Law Firm of the Year in Dallas for dedicating approximately 3,500 hours to pro bono clients and dedicating more than 1,600 hours to DVAP programs and Fawaz Bham was previously honored as the Lawyer of the Year by DVAP for leading the development of the virtual legal aid intake clinic platform and sustaining its continued growth.
