Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is pleased to announce that partner Courtney Glaser was recently named among the 2023 Litigation Trailblazers by The National Law Journal. The publication is honoring Glaser in particular for her defense of Rite Aid when the organization was accused of overcharging customers for prescription medications.

Co-lead of the firm’s managed care litigation practice, Glaser is a business litigator with a particular emphasis in the managed care industry who works closely with clients faced with complex commercial disputes. She has more than 15 years’ experience in handling complex commercial litigation matters, including breach of contract, breach of warranty, business torts, construction litigation, insurance coverage litigation, real estate litigation, deceptive trade practices, products liability, privacy and fraud. On a daily basis, Glaser represents managed care clients, including group insurers, plan administrators, third-party claim administrators, pharmacy providers and employer groups. She handles cases involving disputes over medical benefits, claim billing and payment, reimbursement disputes, fraud, and other healthcare issues.
