Hunton Andrews Kurth is pleased to announce partner Alexandra B. Cunningham has been named among the National Law Journal’s 2020 Litigation Trailblazers. The list spotlights 30 litigators nationwide who have marked new paths in the courtroom.

Cunningham, co-head of the product liability and mass tort litigation practice group, represents clients in all aspects of product liability, mass tort and toxic tort and environmental litigation. She also advises clients on legal issues related to COVID-19, including potential claims risk and mitigation, wrongful death, personal injury and nuisance claims defense strategies, and is actively defending companies in COVID-19 litigation. Most recently, Cunningham obtained the dismissal of a federal lawsuit related to COVID-19 against one of the largest meat processing companies in the nation and defeated a request for injunctive relief. The lawsuit was one of the first of its kind in the new era of COVID-19 litigation. She is recognized in both Chambers USA and Legal 500 and was also named among Virginia Lawyers Weekly’s 2020 Influential Women of Law.
