Fate of Falcons Stadium in Hands of Georgia Supreme Court

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

In response to an appeal by several Atlanta residents seeking to preclude the Atlanta Development Authority from issuing $200 million in revenue bonds to partially fund the $1.2 billion new Falcons stadium, Matt Calvert explained to the Georgia Supreme Court how the bond financing will comply with Georgia’s Constitution and Development Authorities Law, and how the stadium will benefit the city. Calvert’s litigation practice focuses on commercial disputes, consumer class actions, product liability, including medical and pharmaceutical litigation, personal injury, real estate and eminent domain.
