LatinFinance Names Chilean Project Financing as 2023 Loan of the Year

LatinFinance has named Aguas Horizonte SpA’s financing of Corporación Nacional del Cobre de Chile’s (Codelco) water supply project its Loan of the Year in its 2023 Project & Infrastructure Finance Awards. The credit agreement, which closed in March 2023, financed the construction and operation of a reverse osmosis desalination plant and water supply system in the coastal area of Northern Chile. The Project will mitigate Chile’s ongoing water supply issues by supplying water to the mining operations of Chilean state-owned mining company, Corporación Nacional del Cobre de Chile (Codelco).
