NEW YORK — May 22, 2013 — Hunton & Williams LLP advised the owner of 5 Columbus Circle in connection with a $55 million mortgage loan with respect to the landmark office building.

5 Columbus Circle (also known as 1790 Broadway) counts among its tenants Columbia University, Fordham University, HSBC, Columbia Artists Management and Westside Radiology.

The loan was provided by First Republic Bank.

The Hunton & Williams legal team was led by Carl F. Schwartz, chair of the New York real estate practice, and New York associate Matthew A. Scoville.

John P. O'Donnell of John P. O'Donnell, P.C. served as co-counsel to the owner in connection with the transaction and also represented the managing member of the owner.
