Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP represented Freedom Mortgage Corporation in the sale of RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing LLC to Matrix Financial Services Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Two Harbors Investment Corp. (NYSE: TWO), a real estate investment trust that invests in residential mortgage-backed securities, mortgage servicing rights and other financial assets. RoundPoint became a wholly owned subsidiary of Matrix upon the closing of the transaction and has retained its servicing licenses and capabilities.
