Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP has been ranked among the leading law firms for its Summer Associate Program in Vault Law’s 2024 rankings and survey. This marks the first time the firm has received this ranking since Hunton & Williams LLP and Andrews Kurth Kenyon LLP merged in 2018.

The firm received a score of 32 out of 50 law firms for Best Summer Associate Program and 27 out of 30 law firms for Summer Associate Attorney Interactions. Vault asked junior associates who participated in their current firm’s summer associate program to rate their experiences on a scale of 1 to 10 in six different areas. The Overall Best Summer Associate Program ranking reflects the average of six individual ratings (attorney interactions, substantive assignments, training & mentoring, preparation for associate life, quality of events, and satisfaction with firm-sponsored social opportunities and social interactions).

“Our summer associate program holds significant value within our firm's culture,” said Rudene Haynes, firmwide hiring partner and co-head of the firm’s servicer advance financing practice. “We recognize that summer associates represent the future of the legal profession, and we strive to provide them with the most effective preparation for their future practice of law.”

Vault’s national ranking of the most prestigious law firms based on the assessments of lawyers at peer firms. This year, more than 20,000 associates rated the reputations of firms other than their own. Vault's 2024 Rankings are derived from Vault's Annual Associate Survey conducted from January 2023 through March 2023.
