Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is proud to announce that 100 percent of its full-time U.S. lawyers have participated in pro bono projects for the 10th year in a row. At the end of the fiscal year in March 2019, the firm had donated more than 41,000 pro bono hours globally. This marks 25 continuous years of meeting or exceeding the Pro Bono Institute's Law Firm Pro Bono Challenge of donating at least three percent of its annual billable hours to pro bono service.

“A decade of 100 percent pro bono participation is an extraordinary achievement for any law firm, but we’re especially excited to have reached this milestone only a year after our merger,” said Wally Martinez, managing partner of the firm. “Like many of the other synergies that have happened across our practices, it’s symbolic of the fruitful partnership resulting from our coming together as Hunton Andrews Kurth. Not only does our merger enable us to serve clients better, it also allows us to have a greater impact on our communities.”

Pro bono participation is an indelible part of the Hunton Andrews Kurth culture, and the firm is proud of this milestone and of our collective efforts to provide legal representation to those in need within our communities.
