Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is pleased to announce that Washington, DC-based partner, Koorosh Talieh has won the Thomas Segalla Award for service to the American College of Coverage Counsel for 2021. Dedicated to advancing the law and professionalism in the practice area, the College gives this award annually to recognize one lawyer representing policyholders and one representing insurers who demonstrate creativity, visibility, persistence, and dedication to the field of coverage law.

Talieh has gone above and beyond in service to the College, serving for more than five years as the national Policyholder Co-Chair of the Membership Committee. In his position as Co-Chair, Talieh oversees the Committee’s work in identifying lawyers from around the country who meet the College’s admission requirements, vetting the nominees, and recommending candidates for membership to the ACCC’s Board of Regents. Talieh also serves as a member of the Board of Regents for the College.

In his insurance practice at Hunton Andrews Kurth, Talieh advises policyholders on all phases of dispute resolution from pre-complaint investigation and advice through mediation, arbitration, trial, appeals and settlements, across all lines of commercial insurance.
