Rafael’s employment litigation practice includes defending employers in wrongful discharge, discrimination, harassment and retaliation actions. Rafael's practice also includes a significant amount of complex wage and hour litigation. He defends employers in wage and hour class actions, PAGA representative actions and FLSA collective actions involving meal and rest break, overtime, minimum wage, off-the-clock and misclassification claims. In addition to litigation, Rafael provides counsel to clients regarding compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations.
