Years of Experience: The Labor & Employment Team seeks to hire an attorney in a non-partnership track, part-time associate position. The candidate will not be guaranteed any specific hours, but will generally have an expected billable hour goal of 1,400 hours per year, and will be paid an hourly rate (depending on experience and commitment) for billable credit hours worked and recorded. The position will be benefits eligible. The ideal candidate will have large law firm experience in a labor and employment litigation practice, experience handling single-plaintiff employment litigation. The successful candidate will be asked to assist on more complex employment litigation matters, including class and collective actions, and also may assist with research and writing projects, taking and defending depositions, administrative hearings, and counseling on issues relating to general employment matters. The successful candidate must have a strong academic record, and exceptional analytical and writing skills. Florida bar membership is required.
