Years of Experience: The Global Privacy and Cybersecurity practice group of Hunton Andrews Kurth seeks an associate in the Austin, Dallas, Houston or New York offices. Candidates should have at least two to four years of experience, which includes handling privacy and cybersecurity matters. Ideally, the candidate will have experience assisting with: (i) data breach response and cybersecurity preparedness activities, (ii) compliance with existing and emerging privacy law frameworks in the US and internationally; and/or iii) regulatory investigations relating to privacy and data security issues.  Large law firm experience, an excellent academic record, exceptional analytical and writing skills, and a keen interest in the field of privacy and data security is desired.  Candidates should also have the desire to be part of an internationally-recognized privacy practice while working as a true team player in a collegial environment.  Licensure in the jurisdiction to which a candidate is applying is preferred but, in any event, required within one year of commencing employment.
