Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP seeks an experienced attorney to join its highly ranked nationally recognized Environmental Law practice group as a non-partnership track Senior Attorney in our San Francisco office. An attorney in this position will be benefits eligible and will generally have an expected billable hour goal of between 1200 – 1500 hours. Applicants should have at least six years of experience in environmental law in private practice, consulting or a government agency, with particular emphasis on contaminated site cleanup and related transactional work, Superfund regulatory work, and Brownfields transaction work. Familiarity working with the Regional Water Quality Control Boards and/or the Department of Toxic Substance Control on site cleanup requirements in California strongly preferred. A successful candidate will have strong analytical, research, and writing skills. California bar membership (inactive status acceptable if candidate can activate before beginning the position) is required. Remote work arrangements within California will be considered provided the candidate is willing to spend a few days each month in either the San Francisco or Los Angeles office.
