Battling the Rising Cost of Investigations

2016 Latin American Corporate Counsel Association Annual Report - LACCA International │ September 2015

Wendell Taylor provides commentary about preparation and potential costs to investigate, as the Department of Justice and the SEC become more aggressive with pursing FCPA cases and enforcing actions against companies. Taylor tells LACCA, “when the DOJ comes knocking with a global investigation and they want an independent firm running the investigations the bills soon start rising, so GCs need to prepare and think of ways to cut costs.” Taylor’s practice focuses on antitrust litigation, government antitrust investigations, and white-collar criminal defense.
