On September 28, 2014, Walter Andrews participated in the 8th Annual Lymphoma Research Ride, a fundraiser hosted by the Lymphoma Research Foundation (LRF) to help eradicate lymphoma and serve those touched by the disease. Andrews, a lymphoma survivor, has biked in the fundraiser for three years along with other cyclists from the Washington Metro region who race to support lymphoma research. Many individuals throughout Hunton & Williams joined him in supporting this cause by donating or racing.

Andrews, an insurance litigation partner in the firm’s McLean office, had a team of nearly 30 riders, who all wear lime green “Team W” shirts to show their support and raise money for the cause this year.

Andrews and Elizabeth Thompson, CEO of the LRF, joined Let’s Talk Live on WJLA-ABC7 to tell viewers more about the event.
