Wally Martinez Featured in Lawdragon’s Lawyer Limelight Series

NEW YORK — Hunton & Williams LLP managing partner Wally Martinez was featured in Lawdragon’s popular Lawyer Limelight series. Martinez, who was a founding partner of the firm’s Miami office, had left the firm in 2004 to join Diageo North America, where he served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel. He returned to Hunton & Williams in 2006 to become managing partner. When asked about what lessons he took away from Diageo North America that have contributed to the firm’s philosophy of client service, Martinez stated, “our ability to help ‘see around the corner’ and in helping identify issues and potential challenges — as well as opportunities — in advance … requires innovative thinking on their behalf.”
