Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is pleased to announce that partner Maya M. Eckstein has been honored as one of the ‘Go To Lawyers’ for intellectual property law by Virginia Lawyers Weekly. Now in its third year, the program recognizes leading lawyers in a particular field.

Virginia Lawyers Weekly selected nominees using six criteria, looking for lawyers to whom other lawyers make referrals, who showcase a record of success and who are highly knowledgeable in their field of law, among other characteristics.

Eckstein represents plaintiffs and defendants in complex litigation and appeals spanning a wide array of industries and subject matter. Many of her cases have focused on intellectual property matters, including patent, trade secrets and trademark matters. Eckstein is the former head of the firm’s Intellectual Property practice group, sits on the firm’s Associates Committee and is co-chair of the Richmond office’s Pro Bono Committee.

Eckstein, along with the other honorees, will appear in a special section of Virginia Lawyers Weekly in the September 26th issue. View the full list of VLW ‘Go To Lawyers’ for intellectual property law.
