The Recorder named Los Angeles managing partner Ann Marie Mortimer among 2019 California Trailblazers. The list, in its inaugural year, spotlights 55 individuals across California who have made significant marks on policy and technological advancements within their practice.

Mortimer is co-head of the firm’s commercial litigation practice and founder and managing partner of the firm’s Los Angeles office. She advises clients in high stakes litigation at the forefront of class actions, working from a state—California—that leads national trends. Late last year, she reached a global settlement for Yahoo! in class actions over data breaches affecting as many as 3.5 billion user accounts—the largest data breach settlement deal in history. She continues to handle an impressive volume of other complex, high-profile cases involving cutting-edge class actions and multi-district litigation.
