Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is proud to announce that Labor and Employment partner Amber M. Rogers was named to the 2023 Texas 100, an annual list created through the joint efforts of the Austin, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio Business Journals. The Texas 100 highlights 100 impactful Texans who “will likely play crucial roles in the economy during the coming year,” including professionals ranging from tech entrepreneurs to real estate gurus and lawyers to sports stars.

Rogers is the hiring partner of Hunton Andrews Kurth’s Dallas office and a member of the firm’s executive committee. She is an experienced attorney, assisting clients with traditional labor relations and litigation, conducting sensitive workplace investigations, employment advice and counseling, and complex employment litigation. Her litigation experience also includes regularly representing clients in wage and hour collective and class actions, trade secrets and post-employment restrictive covenant disputes, and complex employment discrimination. Rogers’ employment and labor practice is focused on assisting clients throughout the retail and consumer products, transportation, energy, technology, manufacturing and entertainment industries across the US.

Additionally, Rogers is an advocate and promoter of diversity in the firm and the legal community, having co-founded The NEW (Network of Empowered Women) Roundtable to focus on influencing, empowering, and impacting the careers of African-American women attorneys. She also serves as co-chair of the Dallas office diversity committee and of the firm’s Diversity Oneness Luncheon series, which is a quarterly gathering for the firm’s racial and ethnic minority attorneys.
