Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP partner Cassandra (Sandy) Collins was recently named among the 25 2021 Energy & Environmental Trailblazers by The National Law Journal, which seeks to pay tribute to some of the great minds impacting the crucial intersection of energy production and the environment.

The publication recognized Collins for her work “on some of the earliest asbestos-related cases involving immunity provided under workers’ compensation statutes, as well as groundbreaking water contamination cases in Tucson, Arizona.”

As co-lead of the firm’s Energy Litigation practice, Collins leverages her first-chair trial and appellate experience with her negotiations skills to resolve mission-critical disputes for her clients. For more than 25 years, she has blazed some of the most complex legal trails to find resolutions while helping achieve business objectives, qualities that make her a trusted advisor.
