Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is proud to share that four lawyers from the New York and Washington, D.C. offices have been named 2021 Rising Stars by Managing IP and, in an update to the practice rankings released in June 2021, the firm has been recognized in an additional practice area. 

Two-time honorees, Erik Kane and Jeremy Boczko, are joined by Andrew Kasnevich and Armin Ghiam as Rising Stars in 2021. The list recognizes up-and-coming IP practitioners in private practice who meaningfully contribute to the success of their firms and clients.

Based in Washington, D.C., Kane is a Counsel whose practice focuses on IP litigation, licensing, and counseling, particularly with respect to trademarks, trade dress, and copyrights. Also in D.C., Kasnevich is a Counsel with extensive patent litigation experience before federal courts and the International Trade Commission, and patent prosecution and post-grant proceedings before the US Patent and Trademark Office.

Partner Boczko works out of the New York office and focuses on assisting clients in the acquisition and litigation of IP rights in wide-ranging industries, including banking and financial services, fashion and retail, entertainment, wine and spirits, online media, professional sports, and toys. Ghiam, also in New York, is an Associate who represents clients in all aspects of the IP life cycle, assisting companies in understanding the complexities of IP law to make important business decisions and achieve their objectives.
