Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP has been named a finalist in two categories at the Chambers Diversity & Inclusion Awards: North America 2020. The winners will be announced during a virtual awards ceremony on Sept. 24.

Legal rankings organization Chambers and Partners has recognized the firm as a diversity and inclusion pioneer for the legal profession in the categories of:

  • Outstanding Firm for Furthering Diversity and Inclusion
  • Veterans Program of the Year

Hunton Andrews Kurth has a history of strong leadership on diversity and has continually demonstrated its commitment to developing and implementing programs and initiatives designed to recruit, retain and promote diverse lawyers. The firm and its lawyers also actively seek to partner with organizations that support diverse populations in and outside of the legal profession.

The firm also has a long history of meaningful pro bono service, and for many years it has committed a substantial portion of its pro bono efforts to United States military service members. This past year alone, the firm dedicated more than 3,000 hours to veterans’ cases.
