Hunton Andrews Kurth Represents Management of San Juan Holdings in Connection with the Formation of a Joint Venture with Lime Rock Partners

Hunton Andrews Kurth represented the Management Team at San Juan Holdings in connection with the formation of a joint venture with Lime Rock Partners for the purpose of agreeing to buy the offshore GOM oil and gas properties of Arena Energy LP, a Texas-based offshore oil and gas company, out of bankruptcy, subject to approval of the bankruptcy court.  Promptly after the management team and Lime Rock executed the LLC Agreement of San Juan Offshore LLC, Arena and its affiliates filed chapter 11 protection in U.S Bankruptcy Court in Houston to restructure more than $1 billion debt.
