Hunton Andrews Kurth Represents IFC in $140 Million ESG-Linked Revolving Credit Facility to Celsia S.A. E.S.P.

On June 30, 2022, the International Finance Corporation (“IFC”) closed on a $140 million revolving credit facility to Colombian electric power company Celsia Colombia S.A. E.S.P. (the “Company”). The proceeds of this sustainability-linked loan will be utilized by the Company to finance the construction and/or acquisition of renewable energy projects, commit new investments that will lead to improved services in Colombia and continue to develop its product portfolio.

The US-based firm of Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP advised IFC as international counsel in connection with the structuring and negotiation of the facility.
