Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is pleased to announce that the firm and partner Torsten Kracht have been named in the Financial Times 2020 North America Innovative Lawyers report.

In recognition of the firm’s COVID-19 Complaint Tracker, Hunton Andrews Kurth is among a handful of firms cited in the report for devising creative solutions that enabled clients to effectively respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Launched in March 2020 as the pandemic began to take hold in the United States, the tracker is an infographic-based tool that tracks coronavirus litigation at the federal and state levels. It is an authoritative resource on the number and types of litigation related to COVID-19 and has received extensive media attention nationally over the past year.

The FT North America Innovative Lawyers report ranks lawyers and firms based on thoroughly researching each firm’s submission through interviews, questionnaires and reviews. This year, the publication focused less on category rankings and individual awards to analyze the big trends in the industry. The pandemic section recognizes firms who launched special projects that either offered services in support of clients, pro bono projects that supported the community or internal initiatives to support staff at the firm.
