The rankings represent the top-performing legal advisors based on the volume of asset-backed securities (ABS) and mortgage-backed securities (MBS) offerings completed during the first half of 2021.

Hunton Andrews Kurth tied for first place for the most active underwriters’ counsel for US ABS and MBS securitizations. The firm advised on 61 deals with a total issuance value of more than $33 billion during the first half of 2021; an increase of more than $10 billion from the same period last year.

Hunton Andrews Kurth also ranked third among firms representing issuers on US ABS and MBS securitizations. The firm advised issuers on 36 deals with a total issuance value of approximately $15 billion during the first half of 2021; an increase of more than $6 billion from the same period last year.
