Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is pleased to announce that 100% of its full-time U.S. attorneys participated in pro bono projects during the recent fiscal year ending on March 31. This year, more than 800 attorneys donated 46,494 pro bono hours across the country, marking the fourteenth consecutive year for 100% firm-wide pro bono participation.

“Our steadfast commitment to 100% participation in pro bono activities reflects the firm’s overall mission to support the communities in which we live and work,” said managing partner Sam Danon. “We believe a whole-firm approach with our pro-bono work is critical in making a difference and providing legal support to the communities around us.”

Hunton Andrews Kurth encourages individual dedication to providing legal representation to those in need within our communities. As evidence of the firm’s emphasis on and commitment to pro bono, associates and paralegals receive billable hour credits for up to 100 hours of pro bono time. Additionally, this year marks 30 continuous years of meeting or exceeding the Pro Bono Institute's Law Firm Pro Bono Challenge of donating at least three percent of its annual billable hours to pro bono service.
