Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is proud to share that Juan D. Olano, formerly an associate in the firm’s mergers and acquisitions practice, has joined Grammarly, Inc., a tech company most well-known for providing digital writing assistance. In this role as commercial counsel, he will focus on tech transactions.

At Hunton Andrews Kurth, Olano’s practice focused on a variety of corporate and transactional matters, including cross-border finance, development, telecommunications, and mergers and acquisitions. Olano joined the firm’s Miami office in 2018.

“Juan started off his legal career at HuntonAK, and during this time, we have witnessed him become an exceptional lawyer,” said Fernando Margarit, partner in the Mergers and Acquisitions practice. “Juan was a sheer joy to work with. Olano is a distinguished graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and of the University of Miami School of Law, magna cum laude.
