Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP recently represented International Leadership Texas (ILT) as Bond Counsel in its $357 million Education Revenue Bonds Series 2018D & 2018E. The transaction, which is the largest charter school transaction ever completed in the United States, involved 15 separate campuses in 10 jurisdictions, as well as the complexity of negotiating and financing with the underwriting syndicate.

With more than 18,000 students, ILT’s mission is to prepare its students for exceptional leadership roles in the international community by emphasizing servant leadership, mastering the English, Spanish and Chinese languages, and strengthening the mind, body and character.

Houston public finance partner Tom Sage led the transaction team, along with partners Clay Holland and Mark Arnold, counsel Drew Kintzinger, and associates Samantha Rachlin and Madison Amons.
