Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP advised the underwriters on an SEC-registered offering by Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. (“CECONY”) of $600 million aggregate principal amount of debentures due 2059.

CECONY, a subsidiary of Consolidated Edison, Inc., provides electric service in all of New York City (except a part of Queens) and most of Westchester County, an approximately 660 square mile service area with a population of more than nine million. CECONY also provides gas service in Manhattan, the Bronx, parts of Queens and most of Westchester County, and steam service in parts of Manhattan.
