Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP advised the underwriters on an SEC-registered offering by Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. ("CECONY") of $500 million aggregate principal amount of its 5.20% Debentures, Series 2023 A due 2033.

CECONY, a subsidiary of Consolidated Edison, Inc., provides electric service to approximately 3.6 million customers in all of New York City (except a part of Queens) and most of Westchester County, an approximately 660 square mile service area with a population of more than nine million. CECONY delivers gas to approximately 1.1 million customers in Manhattan, the Bronx, parts of Queens and most of Westchester County. CECONY operates the largest steam distribution system in the United States by producing and delivering approximately 17,427 million pounds of steam annually to approximately 1,530 customers in parts of Manhattan.
