Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP acted as counsel to J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, as remarketing agent, for the remarketing of $65 million aggregate principal amount of West Virginia Economic Development Authority Solid Waste Disposal Facilities Revenue Refunding Bonds (Wheeling Power Company – Mitchell Project), Series 2013A.

Wheeling Power Company (WPCo) is a subsidiary of American Electric Power Company, Inc., a public utility holding company. WPCo is engaged in providing electric service to approximately 42,000 retail customers in northern West Virginia. WPCo owns 780 MWs of generating capacity which it uses to serve its retail and other customers.
