Hunton Andrews Kurth Advises on CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric, LLC’s $800 Million General Mortgage Bonds

Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP advised the underwriters on an SEC-registered offering by CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric, LLC (CEHE) of $300 million aggregate principal amount of its 3.00% General Mortgage Bonds, Series AG, due 2032 and $500 million in aggregate principal amount of its 3.60% General Mortgage Bonds Series AH, due 2052.

CEHE, an indirect, wholly owned subsidiary of CenterPoint Energy, Inc., provides electric transmission and distribution services to retail electric providers serving approximately 2.7 million metered customers in the Texas Gulf Coast area that includes the City of Houston.
