Hunton Andrews Kurth Advises IDB Invest in A/B Loan to Tanner Servicios Financieros S.A.

On December 4, 2020, the Inter-American Investment Corporation (“IDB Invest”) closed on an approximately $86 million A/B loan facility to Tanner Servicios Financieros S.A. (“Tanner”). The proceeds of the loan will be used by Tanner to finance small and medium-sized companies (SME) through factoring operations in Chile.
The U.S.-based firm of Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP advised IDB Invest as international counsel. Chilean legal advice to IDB Invest was provided by Contreras Velozo Abogados.
