On November 2, 2022, Managed Detection and Response (“MDR”) and enterprise defense provider Binary Defense Systems announced it had raised $36 million in a Series A financing round. Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP acted as co-counsel with Christopher Hunt at Krugliak, Wilkins, Griffiths & Dougherty on the fundraising round led by Invictus Growth Partners. The capital will be used to  accelerate sales and marketing, broaden the partner ecosystem, expand machine learning capabilities, and create a world-class Managed Open XDR offering.
