Perry Hicks and counsel Bryon Mulligan have been elected as Fellows to the American College of Commercial Finance Lawyers for their outstanding achievement and advances in the field of commercial finance law. Hicks and Mulligan join their colleagues Vicki O. Tucker and Gail Merel, both longtime Fellows, in receiving this prestigious acknowledgement.

The American College of Commercial Finance Lawyers is a professional organization dedicated to promoting the field of commercial finance law through education, legislative reform and the recognition of distinguished practitioners, jurists and academics. To qualify for nomination to the American College of Commercial Finance Layers, eligible attorneys must have achieved preeminence in the field of commercial finance law, and have made substantial and sustained contributions to the promotion of learning and scholarship in the field.

Hicks and Mulligan lead Hunton Andrews Kurth’s Fund Finance team, and both have extensive experience advising international commercial and investment banks, investment managers and other financial institutions in private investment fund and commodity-related asset-based secured transactions. Both Hicks and Mulligan have held leadership positions with the American Bar Association’s Business Law Section and other industry groups and regularly speak and write about key topics in commercial finance law.
