Los AngelesJune 22, 2017 — Hunton & Williams Partners Shannon Broome and Ann Marie Mortimer were named among the 2017 Top Women Lawyers in California by the Daily Journal. This prestigious West Coast ranking recognizes women lawyers who have made a difference to their clients, their firms, and their profession.  Profiles of each lawyer were published earlier this month in a Daily Journal Special Edition.

Broome is Hunton & Williams’ San Francisco office managing partner and a member of the firm’s environmental practice.  The Daily Journal spotlighted her work negotiating viewpoints with federal agencies and initiating litigation challenges, when needed, and her work in incident response and crisis management on behalf of major oil and chemical companies and before regulatory agencies for trade organizations such as the Chemical Safety Advocacy Group.

Founder and managing partner of Hunton & Williams’ Los Angeles office, Mortimer leads the firm’s energy and environmental litigation practice. In a profile of her impressive accomplishments, the Daily Journal highlighted her work on a lawsuit alleging the largest data breach in history as well as a major class action victory for Diageo plc, a global leader in beverage alcohol.
