Burns was recognized for his work on significant representations for high profile clients covering an array of industries in California and across the nation, including (1) the $10,050,000 strategic settlement of a “bet the company” California wage and hour class action for a national mortgage lending client, (2) a complete defense judgment in a hybrid wage and hour national collective action / California class action for a national oil and gas exploration client, (3) a complete defense judgment in a national ADA Title III class action concerning closed-captioning of special event programs for the top three movie exhibitors in the United States; and (4) multiple employment arbitration and lawsuit victories for a national professional staffing services client.
