Bangkok Lawyers Hold Successful Briefing on New Legislation Affecting Directors

More than 200 guests from private and publicly listed companies attended a March 10 breakfast briefing, Legal Update: Criminal Liabilities of Directors, presented by lawyers in the Bangkok office of Hunton & Williams, along with the Thai Institute of Directors Association.

Bangkok partner Manida Zinmerman and counsel Apichart Phankeasorn discussed the implications of the Juristic Persons Act B.E. 2560, a new Act which imposes new statutory responsibilities and legal liabilities on directors of both private or publicly listed companies.

In addition to Zinmerman and Phankeasom, Hunton’s team included associates Somruetai Noppornprom, Sappawit Jansuparerg and Nonthagorn Rojaunwong.
