Doris Rodríguez: Top 100 Female Lawyers in Latin America in Energy

Doris has a transactional practice concentrated on a broad range of domestic and international corporate, finance, energy and real estate transactions in a variety of sectors. She has extensive experience working in the Latin American countries, where she has represented clients in all sectors. Her domestic and international work includes acquisitions, dispositions, secured and unsecured lending transactions, joint venture and similar arrangements, project finance and other structured finance mechanisms as well as all types of contracts, such as gas supply agreements, mining agreements, and distribution agreements. She received her J.D. in 1980, cum laude, from the University of Houston Law Center, where she was Editor (1979-1980) of Houston Law Review, Order of the Barons and Phi Delta Phi. She earned her B.A., summa cum laude, from the University of Houston in 1971.

Vera A. Rechsteiner: Top 100 Female Lawyers in Latin America in Energy and Infrastructure; Top 100 Lawyers in Latin America in Banking & Finance and Project Finance

Vera's practice concentrates on the development, financing, acquisition and disposition of energy, oil and gas, and infrastructure facilities and tax structuring for energy acquisitions and international project development. She has worked on energy, infrastructure and related projects in the U.S. and throughout Latin America, Africa and Asia. She has also advised commercial and multilateral lenders on a variety of structured and corporate finance transactions. Vera is fluent in German, Spanish and French. She received her J.D. in 1985, from The George Washington University Law School and her BSFS in 1979, from Georgetown University – School of Foreign Service.
