Modern Slavery Act

The Modern Slavery Act 2015 requires commercial organisations of a certain size, operating in the UK and supplying goods and services from or to the UK, to publish a slavery and human trafficking statement each financial year, setting out the steps which they have taken to combat slavery or human trafficking in their business or supply chains.

Hunton Andrews Kurth supplies legal services in the UK and elsewhere in the world. This statement relates to the UK.

Hunton Andrews Kurth holds itself to high professional and ethical standards and strives to act with integrity in its client and business relationships. Hunton Andrews Kurth is committed to combatting modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business and is continuing to evaluate and develop ways to assess the modern slavery and human trafficking risks of its suppliers.

Hunton Andrews Kurth has communicated to our lawyers and staff our commitment to the Act’s goal of combatting slavery or human trafficking in our business or supply chain and our zero–tolerance policy against the use of slavery and human trafficking. Our policy, which is made available on our intranet, identifies the unacceptable behaviour and the need to report any potential violations of our policy. This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes the Hunton Andrews Kurth UK statement in relation to slavery and human trafficking for the financial year ended 31 March 2023.
