In this webinar we will cover the rules regarding “controlled groups” and “affiliated service groups,” which apply to employee benefit plans in a variety of contexts – including pension liability, qualified plan nondiscrimination testing, Affordable Care Act compliance, COBRA, and more. We will discuss the different ways in which controlled groups and affiliated service groups can form, implications of being a member of a controlled group or affiliated service group, and how these rules can impact benefit plans in practice.
