IFLR Asia-Pacific Awards 2024 Recognize Hunton Andrews Kurth as Advisor on Project Finance Deal of the Year

Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is proud to share that a deal for which the firm served as advisor was recently recognized as Project Finance Deal of the Year at the 2024 IFLR Asia-Pacific Awards, an annual event that celebrates the region’s most innovative cross-border work and those behind it.

The firm was recognized for its role as advisor to the sponsors and borrower of the Monsoon Wind project, a 600 MW wind project that is the first cross-border wind energy plant in Lao PDR and the largest onshore wind energy farm in Southeast Asia. This project finance team effort was led by Bangkok-based partners, Edward B. Koehler, James P. Bradley, and Chumbhot Plangtrakul, Tokyo-based partner Sean C. Conaty, and London-based partner Ferdinand Calice.
