Washington — April 8, 2010 — Hunton & Williams LLP today announced the election of Melanie Fitzgerald, Jason W. Harbour, Jeffrey L. Harvey, Colleen Heisey, Patrick L. Robson, Brent A. Rosser, and Aaron P. Simpson to its partnership. The firm is pleased to recognize this talented group of individuals and their leadership ability to serve its clients.

Melanie Fitzgerald is a member of the firm's lending services group and focuses her practice on corporate finance transactions and transactional work for financial institutions. An undergraduate of the University of Tennessee, Fitzgerald received her law degree from the University of South Carolina. She is based in the firm's Charlotte office.

Jason W. Harbour, a member of the firm's litigation and intellectual property team, concentrates his practice on bankruptcy and creditor's rights, loan workouts, reorganizations, and corporate recovery. Harbour's pro bono experience includes guardianship hearings, child custody and support hearings, and representing clients seeking protective orders. Based in Richmond, Harbour received his undergraduate degree from Davidson College and law degree from William & Mary.

Jeffrey L. Harvey is a member of the firm's global technology, outsourcing, and privacy team. His practice focuses on information technology, sourcing and system integration, and general corporate matters. Harvey received his undergraduate degree from William & Mary and law degree from the University of Richmond. He was named a Chambers USA "2009 Associate to Watch for Outsourcing" and Super Lawyers "2009 Rising Star." Harvey is based in Richmond.

Colleen Heisey's practice focuses on the regulation of drug, biological, medical device, food, dietary supplement, and cosmetic products by the Food and Drug Administration, Department of Agriculture, and other federal and state agencies. She holds an undergraduate degree from Lycoming College, law degree from George Washington University, and masters in public health from Johns Hopkins. Heisey is a member of the firm’s DC-based food and drug practice.

Patrick L. Robson is a member of the firm's securities litigation practice group and practices in the firm’s Charlotte and New York offices. His practice focuses on complex civil litigations, securities class actions, and civil and criminal investigations. An undergraduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Robson received his law degree from Columbia Law School.

Brent A. Rosser's commercial litigation practice centers on cases involving environmental, consumer finance law, contract, construction and product liability disputes. In addition to his litigation practice, Rosser volunteers his services to the Children’s Law Center and to Legal Services of North Carolina. An undergraduate of Furman University, Rosser received his law degree from Case Western Reserve University. In 2009, he was recognized by Benchmark Litigation as a North Carolina "Future Litigation Star." Rosser is based in the firm's Charlotte office.

Aaron P. Simpson focuses on privacy, data security, and information management issues as a member of the firm's privacy and information management practice, which is top-ranked from Chambers in privacy and data security, U.S. and global. Simpson assists clients in identifying, evaluating and managing risks associated with privacy and data security, including providing counsel to clients on security breach issues, GLB, HIPAA, COPPA, CAN-SPAM, FCRA/FACTA, and other international, federal and state privacy and data security matters. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas and law degree from the University of Virginia. Simpson is based in the New York office.
